My expectation about Bodh Gaya fell far short of expectation. A world heritage site where so many people even foreigners visit should have been much much cleaner with proper crowd management mechanism.
People visit Gaya for religious purpose. Authorities should remember God lives in cleaner places. Gaya is unbelievably dirty chaotic, traffic is atrocious . I didnt like the place.
If I had better option for pindadaan I would rather go to that place than Gaya.
I will not recommend my children or any one to go to Gaya for pindadaan.
A place of such importance for Hinduism should have been much better.
Gaya gives a very bad and wrong image of traditional India. I am ashamed that this place is visited by foreigners who get a wrong idea about India.

I suggest spending a day in Bodhgaya (close to Gaya) if you're travelling around North India. It is not very touristic, so it can give you another perspective of the country and it is also a "wind of fresh air" after visiting indu temples and mosques: here you can find dozens of buddhist temples, all in the same place! Of course the Mahabodhi Temple is the cherry on top of the cake, we liked it a lot.

People are very honest, diligent and sincere.
People are very honest, diligent and sincere. They are poor yet dependable. Most unhygienic, poor-quality food. The state government has utterly failed in maintaining the sanctity of the holy places.
The monastery and temples are very well and beautifully maintained.
The poverty and illiteracy of the poor people is very well exploited by the successive state governments.

First select a room not by the rating & offers provided in booking.com, if I viewed the review of that hotel in google. I wouldn't have booked it. Pls book a decent hotel while traveling to other States (Book hotels really have all amenities don't get cheated by false offers in booking.com). Money is not important peace of mind is important. If you feel you re being cheated, you can't enjoy the trip.
Very Good stay we had at the hotel, Very Nice helpful owner and staff. They have the Parking facilities as well.
I was Recommended by my friend about this hotel and it was amazing. Strong WIFI helped me to work from hotel, and have food in the room only. they have good Pure veg restaurant. Location is wise its very good. you can park the car there and go to Vishnu Pad Temple easily. Thanks Pintu and Mr. Manoj for the help and Good Luck to the management. I make sure that i will recommend this hotel to all.
The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful and even stayed up late to welcome us after our train was delayed to the railway station, however the hotel is just 1.5 K.M from Gaya Railway station and you get auto easily.
It is one of the cleanest hotels we have started in India. The rooms were very comfortable and the bed and pillows clean and dry.
The location is great, 5 mins walk to all temples and market.

Concept of hostel is very new to Bihar and relax homestay is at best at its services.
All credit goes to mukesh bhai and neha didi who is making this concept beautiful in Gaya.
Experiences at this place will make you visit this place for more than once.
Most important thing is value for money
The location is good, easy to go in auto rickshaw in Bodhgaya, train and bus stand in the city to leave or to go to visit Nalanda and Rajgir.
If you need informations, the manager can give it to you, advice you ;-) He give me some fresh cooked food to try as well. You can ask hot water.
The property was very lavish and extraordinary. At night it has very different and beautiful view. The food quality is so good. The room was so spacious and lot of facilities was there in this resort. The hotel staff was very helpful and I must appreciate them for their behavior.
Nothing. Booking was confirmed but no information was passed to hotel. I have to wait for one and half hour at the counter. Anyway room was booked at counter after paying full rent. Booking.Com is highly unprofessional, irresponsible service provider.
Really nice and cosy rooms with humble staff and at a prime location near major spots ....food is also very nice wide food options.....in short i am not one of those who come to review but for this hotel i am forced by the pleasure to rate....
Resort is still under construction, not all amenities are open. Resort is on a highway, close to airport, far away from Gaya and Bodha Gaya. Transportation a difficult one. Great place for wedding and closed conference etc. Great Garden
Room is neat and clean, the staff is very cooperative and service is very good, food is very very homely and tasty, i recommend that the overall experience is very good. It's nearer to Vishnu pad and Mangala Gouri temple too
The Room and Toilet were very big and spacious for this category of Hotel.
Very helpful and courteous staff.
They also arranged an Auto rickshaw for going to the station at 2.30 am.
Excellent Service and well behaved staff and team. I really enjoyed by hotel in all aspects. I prefer to visit again. Housekeeping is very nice. Food quality is excellent 👌👌👌👌
Rooms were good, clean and comfortable. The hotel is also very near to Vinshupad and Gauri temple. plus it is in a market area, so it is easy to buy something if you need.
